Beautiful pool area, set in jungle-like surroundings with mango trees, coconut palms, bamboo and birdlife. Location is great if you want to be in a slightly quieter area but still within 10 mins walk of the bars and restaurants. Superb range of choice for breakfast. They vary it a bit from day to day to keep it interesting - the banana samosas were excellent as was the fresh brewed coffee. I also liked that breakfast started at 0630; perfect when you're heading out diving. Rooms are very spacious, equipped with a TV, fridge, bottled water and a kettle. Air con was effective. Handy corner shop opposite reception rents out scooters and bicycles for a very competitive rate.

They rate this a 3 star resort but it was just as nice as the 4 star places I've stayed in Phuket. I only stayed one night as it was simply a stopover after a diving trip to decompress before my flight home, but it was perfect - good location just 5mins to the main strip of restaurants and bars, and only 300m walk to the beach. Staff were lovely, room was clean and tidy, and larger than I expected, and stepped outside straight into the pool. Bed was very comfortable, I slept a solid 11hrs which was exactly what I needed after 4 nights on a dive boat. My flight wasn't until late evening but the staff offered to store my luggage and let me use the pool even after I'd checked out. Highly recommend.

Good selection , juice was a little synthetic and sweet , but a nice choice of fantastic freshly cooked eggs , bacon , sausages , Thai style curry ,yoghurt , toast , pastries , fresh fruit ( a little repetitive, always dragon fruit , water melon , occasionally passion fruit , sadly , never any mango !!!!! Why not !!!! ) Plenty of choice though

Location is excellent, very quiet cos it's not near the main 'busy' area, which is a good 10min walk away. Beach is just across the road, with lovely views. Staff here are friendly and accommodating, rooms are big, clean and comfortable with balcony & pool view. Small sundry shop just opposite the lobby, and excellent foot massage just around the corner. Value for money wise Fanari is unbeatable.

Breakfast was simple but very nice with a selection of cereal, fresh fruit, thai food and an egg station. Room was clean and spacious enough. The staff is very kind and helpful. There is also a shop across the street that rents a few scooters, does laundry and sells some snacks and drinks to bring when you are on your way to one of the nice beaches Khao Lak has to offer.

The location - very quiet, but about 15 minutes walk from the centre. The complex as a whole - very appealing, had a bungalow, plenty of space, good bathroom. Breakfast is very good - unusual for Thailand, especially in this price range. Just opposite a small supermarket, convenient. On the way to the centre there are a few pubs and bars.

Nice big room with balcony, big bathroom with separate areas for shower, sink and toilet. Nice and helpful staff. Clean.
